Edhttp://forum.boatquest.com/Topic14-54-1.aspx<STRONG>Cockpit:</STRONG> The cockpit is 130 sq. ft.The visibilty from the helm does not get any better.A lot of other boats are tied up to the dock when were 100 miles offshore! <BR><BR><B>Cabin:</B> This boat is just as much at home cruising as is off shore fishing.The two stateroom two head layout with queen bed forward is roomy and well thought out. <BR><BR><B>Construction:</B> It's a Bertram ,need I say any more! <BR><BR><B>Handling:</B> Best head sea boat in the 46' range I have ever run. <BR><BR><B>Engine Room:</B> Twin Detroit 8V92 TI's @ 600 H.P. It's a little underpowered in todays standards,but I can do 23 knots in just about any conditions with out getting beat-up! <BR><BR><B>General Comments:</B> I would not own anything but a Bertram because of her seakeeping ability, If I moved up it would be to a Bertram 54 with Cat power. <BR>Fri, 23 Sep 2005 21:01:32 GMTbbyachts
