| Cockpit: 10 wide by 6 long and with a roof over it makes it a great place to kick back and watch the world go by.
Cabin: Lots of room to move around and not bump into the furniture or your friends. A convertible sofa on the left and easy chair on the right along with a hi-low table and a helm seat.
Construction: Built to a price. Lots of formica and monkey fur. Solid construction makes it solid, stiff and plenty strong.
Handling: The downeast hull design is great in a headsea but will keep you busy in a following sea. At 11 MPH there's no pounding or slamming.
Engine Room: 165 Perkins is a bit drippy but always starts and is as smooth and quiet as can be expected of a diesel.
General Comments: A very good cruiser if you are accustomed to 10knts. Of course at 3 GPH it is a little easier to deal with the speed. Like any single screw boat you will need to plan ahead when it comes to docking. Lots of boat for the money and it is just about bullet proof in terms of reliability and simplicity. |
